In 1991 Trafilor s.r.l. is born of an idea: to apply the hot extrusion process on the noble metals.
During the first years, we carried out laboratory tests that pointed out very soon the higher quality of the extruded material ; in fact, the material proves to be denser, harder, without porosity and inside and outside cracks.

In a few years, the production of the extruded drawn tubes increases and the range of sections and dimensions has been enlarged from the full or empty or round or rectangular tubes to various sections and dimensions.
Then the extruded drawn products are finished and put to the correct dimensions in the drawing department.

From our drawn products we produce rings, different kind of jewels, links and componentry to realize bracelets and watch bracelets.
To satisfy all our Customers, besides the extruded drawn products we also manufacture tubes in continuous casting and electrowelded tubes, taking the utmost care of the quality of the product.

Due to the regulations of the market and the several enquiries of our Customers, we faced up to the problem of the toxicity of the nickel contained in the white gold manufacturing gold palladium alloy drawn products, highly appreciated by the market and used to realize one-off jewels.
